The President is taking questions regarding the economy, including small businesses, March 24 - March 26. Make your voice heard directly. Those questions with the most votes will be answered personally by the President. Let's make our creative voices heard!

Well, since this is a new White House Admin I'd say it's at least worth a try. I mean, I know full well that last admin didn't give a damn about the little guy, but keeping with the old ideas because that is what *they* were like, makes no sense to me, and so, any attempt to catch the ear of the new guy is better than not even giving it a shot.

Writing from my second shop today... normally you'd see me as LittlePeanutShop.

I hate to feel so cynical, but while I think anything is worth a try at this point, I don't have much faith in it. I'm sure the top written about item will be addressed in the same way as all that change.org voting... i.e. not at all.

I have written to the White House several times now. Never even a response (but I didn't expect one, due to the sheer volume of correspondence they receive). I'm not holding my breath, as one of Pres. Obama's campaign promises was lead-free toys, and as Mr. Emanuel was one of the sponsors of the CPSIA.

My correspondence was, however, the triumph of hope over experience (or, in this case, suspicion).
