Just a note to let everyone know I edited my original version of the idea with a new title 'Save Small Business from the CPSIA.' This is to better reflect the impact the CPSIA will have beyond just toys (thrift stores, book stores, clothing producers etc.)

And yes, please vote again in the second round. We're in 9th place right now, and need to stay in the top 10 in order to be presented as one of the "Top 10 Ideas for Change in America" on Inauguration Day! Oh, and feel free to use my little video (at littleida.com) to help spread the word, or create your own!

To repeat what I've said elsewhere (including my blog)- this vote may be one of the most useful things people can do because the Commission is set to increase to five people, all appointed by the President, and the commission 'has the power to explain how smaller retailers and manufacturers should follow the new rules when they go into effect.'

Keep in mind, if you contact Obama about this, that he did vote for it (the only one who didn't was Ron Paul), so be tactful.=)

(you vote just to the left of the title of the post on the page, where there is a box with the number of votes so far, and then beneath that it says 'vote now!' You have to register to vote.
