UTAH: Matheson Constituents, want to join forces?

Piddies- I want you. :) ..any anyone else who has a constituent's right to call Matheson and demand a meeting.

Since he's on the actual ECC, and so happily claims some degree of responsibility for this law, he's a pretty keep person to target with calls and letters, and I know many of us have been contacting him.

Well? I got to thinking about it, and he's been surprisingly silent in all of this- has anyone heard from him?

I'm wondering if we might have better luck getting a meeting with him, or at least one of his staffers, if we request it as a group. Anyone want to participate if we do?

Jim Matheson, is my representative (even though I didn't vote for him), you can count me in if there is a meeting.

I think I'll contact a few local small businesses, as well. If I can get a handful of interested parties on here, plus a few established business owners who are interested in participating, it might be easier to get an appointment that will be taken seriously.

Seriously, though, no one has heard a response form him at all?

I just drafted a letter to send to the Utah Director of the Division of consumer protection. I plan to send it to anyone else I can as well.

Are you a member of the UtahEtsy street team? I wonder if you contact the leader of that group they would post it on their blog--or at least put you in touch with the people who were featured on that KSL 5 interview last week.

I don't sell kid's item but really feel for those of you Utah Etsy members who do!

Hi Blynken!! :) Here I am, ready to roar! I've already sent him 2 email letters, but I'll start the phone call brigade tomorrow. Perhaps I'll mention our friend Orrin Hatch's response. hehehe

I haven't heard from him. I did many of those letters that send auto letters and I contacted TONS of media outlets.

I can't find if he's for sure mine, I'm in Milcreek. But I'm up for anything. (oh my main shop raegun is all baby stuff)

I never could find a KSL article.. did they actually run it?

I'm so fed up. Last night I was seriously considering handcuffing myself to Matheson's office furniture.
