Tracking system Question and Obtaining certificates required - How to?

I'm registered as a small batch manufacturer and I think I understand I have to keep track of what is sold and to whom along with the tags but is there a specific tracking system I am supposed to use?

I use yarn and occasionally buttons from various companies like La Mode, how do I obtain the necessary certificates from these companies? What am I asking for?

Justine, we have a lot of threads on tracking systems and tracking labels. Have you done a search on the threads? You can go back to the main discussion page of this team and above the thread list is a search box. Not the search bar at the top of each etsy page that's for a general search on the entire site.

there is no specific tracking system. although there is specific information that has to be on the tag. Your bookkeeping system is up to you. I can send you examples of my labels I had printed at Spoonflower.

You don't need anything for yarn, it's exempt. LaMode has statements online for their buttons. You just need the style number.
