I needed the laugh, but I remember reading something about if your item would tempt a small child to want to play with it then it doesn't matter if you put a large price tag on it, or listed it for adults.

The get you coming and going. I'm thinking trenchcoat full of handmade teddybears worn by a little old lady on a dark street corner whispering, "Hey you! You want to buy a teddybear? No tags!" and all the ladies at church having to confess their sin of making baby blankets and not having them tested because they didn't have the money.

That COULD work haha, love the idea! Only snag I'd see in that plan is that it counts as a child's item for them if it is generally recognized as usable by a child....So I THINK a size 2T shirt on your hubby might not work ;)

MamasFeltFood - I love your items! They are so cute and sweet! I LOVE THEM! Unfortunately, my son doesn't "pretend" play - at least not yet - he is autistic, so pretend play isn't really in his skill set yet - but I just think these are precious! I love them!

It might work with some items, but in your case it wouldn´t. Small children would be drawn to play with your items. Actually, children 12 years and older probably are not playing "tea party" anymore.

couldn't you package your food up as a set and just label the set accordingly? i.e. tag on the box the set comes in :)

Yes smoxcreations, that is what I am planning to do on a lot of my food. Though I will have to label the food and the packaging if possible as stated in the law.

I don't think I'll ever forget the mental image of my husband modeling diapers and a 2T shirt. rotflol
