Hi I am posting this because I have found that I have had negative feelings about everything that has been going on the last week or so. I have been trying to stay positive and not let scared or negative thoughts surround me. I remeber a book I read the Secret it talks about the amazing power of positive thought. I think as we all are going through this we need not forget to stay positive. These thoughts are important. I am just imagining myself continuing to be doing what I love and my business growing. I think during this time we should all try and keep positive thoughts in our minds. I have been saying five times before I sleep that "I will continue making my cute clothes for kids" THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT IS AMAZING LADIES I think we should all make sure we do not forget that in this chaos.

I think about that too...I read The Secret last year. I also think about that with the mindset of our nation right now. One of the premises of the secret is that what you think becomes reality which can apply to a group of people as well. Everybody in the country is thinking the economy is so bad, everyone is losing jobs, I can't spend any money right now because of the economic insecurity. Well, the more we as a nation focus on this the more it becomes SO. We really need to inject some hope into our personal as well as national mentality.

I take that book with me everywhere! I believed I was a generally positive person, but after reading The Secret, I realized that wasn't really the case. I know a lot of people think it's a lot of psycho, hocus pocus, but the basic message is perfectly clear: Negative attracts negative and positive attracts positive.

I am so happy over the response to the quilt block drive. Doing this turns it all around for me. Feel like myself, not some grump that needs an entire chocolate cake to get it all back into perspective. Pass the Ben & Jerry's. I'm willing to do whatever I can to help folks get through these hard times.
