Toys need testing for pull/push/stuffing/ and other stuff, unless you are registered. Registered or not, you still need cpsia labeling. If you want to or ever want to sell thru a store, you will need to be registered, most will require it or they might ask you for testing paperwork. If you are registered, they (the store) can check with the registry and see that you are exempt from testing. There isn't really anything intrusive about what you are asked. Name, address, email where they can get a hold of you if needed, and your company name.
