Short sighted Op-Ed

This OpEd makes my head hurt....
I hate being painted as someone that doesn't care about "the children."
I have two of my own and I love, care and protect them...but not according to this State Rep:

why is it that the people who support this law, in it's entirety rant on about the toxins being banned... the truth is, they are still going to be there, limited.

which is good... i don't disagree with that part of the law.

but, do these people just, not really care? america is suffocating, and they just keep putting more and more plastic bags over it's head.

I haven't read any of this thread. I just think we are reading more than we should. So much is rumors, untruths. Two people read the CPSIA newsletter and each has a totally different interpretation. Time to get away from some of this and get busy creating. Time to love our families. Time to take the dog for a walk. Time to learn something new. We have one chance to live this life. Let's get busy.

I would have to respectfully disagree with bobbin this one time. I think we need to keep reading and educating ourselves (just don't do it to distraction). Keeping up on the developments and status helps us to become better businesspeople in both the short- and long-term. Knowing what others are saying (such as the OpEd piece mentioned in the OP) help us to try to dispel the *misinformation* out there and have our side heard. We can't afford just to turn away and rest our laurels on the proposed enforcement stay.

I'm glad people made some common sense opposition postings to her. She's clearly full of drama and using self-rightousness as wind in her 'cause' sails. It sounds like self-promoting BS to me.
