But, I don't know what would happen if you sold a decoration, and the child was able to reach it, and it had untested items on it, and one of those items contained lead or lead in paint over the limit. I think you'd be up the creek without a paddle.

Could someone that can actually understand this mumbo jumbo interpret it for me? :) From my understanding, if I were to make wall hangings for a childrens room, it would not have to undergo testing so long as it is not intended for the child to play with and is marked as so. Is this right?

I agree, I was thinking I would try to still make them with cotton textiles and such with warnings of not being meant to be a toy but also keeping them as safe as possible! They are really making this hard for everyone!
