Rip offs on Etsy

Do you think it's possible for an etsy user (who has sold more then 200 items)can get 100% feedback on everything? It seems a little shady to me and I'm relluctant to buy something from them.

This venue is a little different than eBay. Many people have thousands of sales with 100% feedback.

Plus, this thread is calling out another user, which is against the TOU.

And yes. It's easy to get 100% feedback even with thousands of sales. It doesn't seem shady to me at all.

I do, there are sellers here with sales in the 1000's that do. I have a 100% feedback record as well.

* Part of the feedback is probably from the shop purchasing from other sellers. That weighs in on the # & percentage. Could be that the shop is 100% on top of crafting and service.

Glad to help. I wasn't used to it when I first joined here, either. I think you'd be fine buying from that seller.

For future reference, though, you can't link to peoples' shops if there's any potential for negative discussion. It's part of Etsy's rules.

Cetainly it's possible - and not at all unusual.

Keep in mind, too, that some sellers (esp. supply sellers) may sell many items in a single transation. If the buyer is satisfied, then yes, they receive a positive for each item.

But yes, this is still considered calling out and this thread will likely be closed.
