Regulations for Children’s Hats

I made a hat for babies ages 5-7 months and I’m wondering what the regulations are on that. It’s made out of acrylic yarn and there are no beads, buttons, or choking hazards. Can I still list this? What do I need to do to make sure it’s allowed? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Regulations for Children’s Hats

This is an old thread, but it is useful as a guideline:

The yarn won't need lead testing; you have no other content.
Hats are exempt from FTC label requirements.

Search 'CPSIA tracking labels' for regulations on labeling.
Search 'Small Batch Manufacturer' for registry so you can use manufacturer testing results when you do use buttons, snaps, etc.:
