Hi guys Thanks for your time looking,
I have read all the posts and I have downloaded information on CPSIA I am sorry I am repeating questions but if anyone can please help me....
I am very new to this whole thing and I was going to open a sight on etsy but now I am just unsure because of all this stuff.
I am so confused! I make headbands for people over 13 so I know that doesn't effect anything but I do make those little single prong ribbon clippies for children. I am just so confused what this is all about and what is a tag or a tracking system? and who checks you that you could get in trouble with all this? and where do you get your creations tested? ugh so over my head.

also- anyone have suggestions I am making cards to hold my clips but i wanted to put something on the back like don't leave child unattended with them on type thing...
so I wont be liable.

I'm no authority, I've just been reading and trying to keep up with it all myself. But I do know that putting a disclaimer on an item doesn't actually make you not responsible if something happens.

The issue is that even though your accessories are *intended* for children over 13, they will appeal to children under that age, and be bought for them by people who don't care/know better.

for the clips that are made for children what should be done? is there any thing I should mark on the card?
