I think I saw that the compliance stay has been extended until Feb 2011. Is that correct? (Which would mean that we can continue to use suppliers certificates for another year - right?) Does anyone know?

The issue with some ribbons may be in the manner in which the design is put on the ribbons. Woven stripes, and jaquard ribbons, plus solid colors are exempt from testing. What does need to be tested are ribbons with screen printed designs. The paint used needs to be tested for lead in paint. Do they have lead in the paint, probably not, but since it is thought by the gov that they possibly could they have to be tested.
