New DIY label

After spending a lot of time these past few weeks pouring over these message boards and various blogs, I finally took the leap and made my own labels. Just wanted to share how I did it, and give thanks to those that previously posted helpful tips!

I used Photoshop elements 8 (check out costco.com - I saved $40). I'm sure you could use Microsoft word if you weren't doing anything super fancy.

I have been looking for these but I picked up the wrong thing las time I was at Jo Anns I am definatly going to give this a try. I have been wanting to put labels on my stuff for a while now, but the store on Etsy I was interested in using went out of business b4 I could order.

Great idea! BTW- did you get a GCC or COC for the transfer paper. I thought it's not except; therefore it must also be tested.
I ask because I thought I read that in another site,

Yocelita - I just spoke with Amy at June Tailor, and she is sending me information, but has assured me that their transfer paper is CPSIA compliant!

We made our labels ourself as well. It's a simple linocut, printed with offset colour on cotton.

Yes, yes, and yes!! TOTALLY saved me the trouble!! i was just about to buy a "DIY tutorial" from someone else, but found this... going to JoAnn's right now :)
