Hi, does anyone know what some of the best places for getting labels made are, since we are required to have them?

I'm not sure what kind of labels you're looking for, but I get the labels for my bath and body products at onlinelabels.com. They have tons of options!

If you are looking for garment labels, ftc labels, cpsia labels you can find lots of places and techniques on how to make your own. Try doing a forum search, and you can also just scan the threads in this form, there are tons of threads about labeling.

The FTC requires labels, for children's products, the CPSC requires CPSIA labels and FTC labels. Etsy requires you to follow all the laws that apply to your product. The government fines are staggering.

Making them yourself is easy and inexpensive, but be aware you need to be prepared to make a large batch. Most Etsy label sellers are making a branding label for you, not FTC or CPSIA (I'm sure they don't want to be responsible should they do it wrong . . . I wouldn't!). There is a FTC and CPSIA Label forum topic that tells you what you need to have on the tags and links to the federal websites tellingyou what items need tags. That's a good one to check.

LaBelle, I'm not sure (I'm in Perth)...I wouldn't even know who to contact to begin finding out info on all this...makes me question is it all worthwhile. Hey, if you find out anything, let me know! And ditto if I find out too.
