I just asked a question in the article that had to do with what Etsy's responsibility was when they were aware of shops that were clearly not compliant ... it flashed up for a second and then was edited out...very interesting LOL

Oh well I give up... buyer beware! ... I have a meeting to go to at school.

I don't sell kids products but have kids of my own and so was asking as a mom... guess I got my answer LMAO

we have caching on Etsy so that our comments appear a bit sporadically when they first go up as they work through our dispersed servers around the globe. not ideal, i know. but it makes the site run faster.

if our filter flags your comment as spam, you should see a red alert message. i'm checking in on those comments on the etsy blog now to see if that's the case.

but rest assured we only remove comments if they are spam or if they "call out" another seller. we get about 800 comments a day so you know we don't have time to read every one!

There have been some great questions posted in the CPSIA forum. Don't forget to post them in the comments section of the article that way hopefully we can get answers direct from the CPSC.

And for those that can not make the meeting it sounds like the same 2 representatives that will be here at the ETSY labs tonight will be giving a second webinar from the CPSC on Friday, March 26 at 11 a.m. EDT, (8 a.m. PDT) similar to tonights lab meeting

Thank you for setting up the presentation with the CPSIA representative.
It would be interesting to have him come back another time to answer more questions that are pre-submitted that way he can have more time to address each question fully.
