I thought just about all dyed or undyed textiles such as yarn, cotton, wool, hemp, nylon, etc., were exempt from the CPSIA.

artisansgifts - wool felt is probably exempt, but felt comes in many forms, not just wool.

The ones with the "*" are CPSIA compliant with both Phthalate and Lead. Just scroll down the page till you come to the list of suppliers.

Most felt is not undyed...also, I use acrylic felt--which most felt that you buy in sheets is.

Also, also, I didn't think that was a ruling yet, just a proposed ruling.
