How would you label this?

I'd like sell these --> http://www.flickr.com/photos/52106511@N03/4924895791/ on Etsy. However, I need to know how to label them. Not the information for CPSIA and FTC tags, just how to actually attach them. As you can see, the item is rather small so I need to know if it has to be a permanent tag or if some kind of hang tag will suffice.

Also, I believe I had read somewhere that if you have a set (for example, a set of knitted fruit) that only one item has to be tagged, not all of them. Any info on that topic would be helpful, too.

Worst case scenario, I just settle for selling PDF patterns, I guess.

What a cute fish! Great work, Hazel!
I think hang tag is sufficient. As for a set of knitted tiny stuffs, there're no rules as to tag just one amongst the set..as long as you chose the wording correctly based on what they are.

Re: How would you label this?

CUTE!!

The law does allow for temporary hang tags if a permanent one is not possible or really gets in the way of the finished product. I tried everything I could think of to attach permanent tags to my Gnomes and it just wasn't working, so I had to go with the hang tag option. If someone wants to complain about it, I'd be happy to show them all manner of techniques that I tried. But, the law does let us use removable hang tags if there's no other option.

Re: How would you label this?

from http://www.cpsc.gov/about/cpsia/sect103policy.pdf

3) What is a "permanent" mark?

4) When can only the packaging be marked and not the product?

5) Where should marks be placed for items sold in sets?
