How many shops on Etsy will this affect

Has anyone done an actual count of how many Etsy shops this will affect? There are so many sellers on here that offer such wonderful items for children. Is this statistic available from admin so that we can include it in our letters to congress, etc.?

my business. i'm not on etsy yet but i was planning on opening up until i found out about this. i have been just in limbo...waiting... just me and my baby clothes!

I hear you!! My daughter and I have gathered all kinds of vintage linens, trims, fabric, etc. and were just going to start another shop--all with little girl's dresses and accessories. I'm praying that they still get this thing stopped and changed--AND SOON!!

I've been replacing my 'kiddie' stock with other items... but I'll miss making things for kids.

I went and stocked up on so much fabric and put out a lot of money thinking I'd make it all back.. It was about 2 weeks later that I found out about the law... Now my money is down the drain and a lot of supplies that I can't use.

List the fabrics for sale anyway as there are people, like me, who sew for themselves and don't sell the items here or eleswhere. You may make at least some of your money back and for a 0.20 listing fee surely that's worth a try?

We need the numbers to add to our letters. I think it would make it more powerful to have in black and white of exactly how many people this is going to put out of business on Etsy alone, not to mention the rest of the country.

I will be dropping my kids line and adding an adult line till this thing gets better defined. I too have dumped a lot of time and money into fabric and designs so i am not ready to throw in the towel yet.
