I have always gotten certificates of compliance for my materials. Unfortunately, in the past few years some of my main suppliers have closed up shop. In my search for new suppliers I am finding many have no idea what I'm talking about with CPSC/CPSIA testing. It's really rather disturbing and disheartening.
I currently have plenty of supplies, but I want to be prepared if I need to get testing done on future supplies just to keep the business going.
So my questions are:
-Have any of you ever gotten a material tested?
-What was the cost?
-How often does it have to be tested?
-How long did the testing take?
-Is there anything else I should know?
