Flammability Testing

I have done extensive reading and research recently on CPSIA requirements. I can't seem to find a definitive answer on what all is required to have flammability testing. Seems like burp cloths, bibs and blankets are going to be included. Has anyone found an answer for that? If they are included, sounds like cotton bedding and bibs (untreated) are off the market.

Re: Flammability Testing

The flammable fabric law and regulations came out in the 70s and was revisited in the late 90's to be ammended, so you may want to check the regular CPSC website, www.cpsc.gov . When you search try this term "flammable fabrics act" you will have to wade through many recall notices but the info is buried in there.
I believe all the CPSIA did was strenghten the fines and penalties that can be asseted but did not change the actual statute.
