Do I need to put a CPSIA label on this?

Hi all I just purchased this business from a lady I used to work with. She never really looked into the CPSIA Laws that I know of.
Do I need to put a label on an item that is made to go on children's wall (tutu bow holder)?

What labels do I need to put on wipe cases?

I tried reading up on it, but my head is hurting!

In general, I understand that decorative items that children do not interact with (wallpaper borders near ceiling for example) will NOT need labels. Items that a child touches (growth charts, coat hooks) do need to be of CPSIA-compliant and properly labeled. Sounds like you tut bow holder would fall in the latter category.

Wipe cases: don't know, sorry.

No offense, but CPSIA makes my head hurt too. You really need to determine what you are required to do yourself and not just take our word for it. If you ever have to go to court, saying that you did what you read in an Etsy forum will probably not cut it with a judge or jury.

When in doubt it's easier to put your label on it. It's no big deal, and with your etsy web address on it, it's easy for the customer to contact for another purchase.
