Costume wings

Hi, I'm new to the group and I make embroidered fairy wings for children and adults. I just started the wings last week and I am moving away from the full costumes I used to sell. I had labels for my costumes, but I can't find much information on if I need a label on my fairy wings. They're made from felt and are all machine embroidered. I use the rhinestones that are lead tested and made specifically for children's items. Any advice? Thanks!

Re: Costume wings

I think you need a label for anything you are selling that is geared towards children under 12. If I am mistaken perhaps someone else can chime in. You will need to get the information from the manufacturers of the rhinestones and felt and anything else used to make the wings.

Yes, you need labels. FTC (care and content) and CPSC. You need testing info for the rhinestones - 3rd party testing, from a CPSC-approved lab, not the manufacturer's in-house testing. The felt, thread, and any stabilizer shouldn't need testing certs.
