I'm still confused if buttons are considered a chocking hazard in my case.
I only use them on one hat that I make, they are securely sewn on by hand, but they are unusable, just for decorative purposes.
I am looking at getting unfinished buttons that are only protected with beeswax, so they will be exempt from lead testing, but will I still need to add a chocking disclosure and meet the under three choking guidelines, or am I okay?
My understanding is that if the buttons are on clothes they are exempt from the choking hazard guidelines.
