CPSIA question

Am I right in assuming that the new CPSIA laws affect only goods sold in America? Therefore one could still be listing items for under 12 's on ETSY for the rest of the world to buy ?

If you are outside the US and selling to people outside the US, you are fine.

I understand that it applies to items within the U.S. and items being imported into the U.S. Exported, too, I think. If you are outside the U.S. and you don't sell to a U.S. customer, I think it would probably be OK. But that's NOT fact, just opinion.

Hopefully it can be modified before it affects all the amazing sellers of the great childrens gear on Etsy.Thanks for your input.
