CPSIA execution in now in effect according to

I just read an artical posted by Rings and Things stating that the law goes into effect today. This is where I buy a lot of my jewelry findings. They also have a petition to sign to change the law.

Yep, that's what this whole forum section is about.
Basically, if you make products for children 12 & under, the new laws apply to you. There is tons of info. Just search CPSC or CPSIA. It is a HUGE mess!

I saw someone from the CPSIA on the news tonight, he said it will be very hard on the thrift stores, mom & pop shops and crafters and such, but he really didn't say anything.

i think it's going to be a challenge for us, but i think we're crafty, and it's in our nature to get thru this.

i believe that. it's what's keeping me going.
