CALL for CORRECT info. on CPSIA laws

This was listed at one of the govt. sites regarding the new laws for Feb. 2009

People here at Etsy are getting panicked and upset, and rather than looking for answers here from other sellers who may not know the proper information,
you should call and get educated as to how the new law will effect your personal situation, business, and products, etc.

thanks for that info, was reading on another site, that it may effect "handmade". freaked me out, i make artist bears and that's what the thread was about. am planning on opening a shop after the first of the year.

That number was no help they are a testing facility nothing more and they are at capacity and said they are turning people away........ I really think Etsy should be giving us a little more info on this and be a little more concerned about how this is going to affect them as well. If we can't get the testing done and if they are unsure as to what needs to be tested then they stand to lose a great deal of members. Just thought I would pass on the info about the number.
