As a BUYER..you prefer to receive your order in a box or standard envelope?

I want to send my item. This is my first sale.
I want to ask you as a buyer, which one do you prefer to receive your order?
In a hard paper box or standard envelope (although I gift wrapped the item inside)?

box is nice, but often kicks the weight up to another category and ends up costing alot more to send. I use envelopes.

It is all relevant to the item you are selling. I ship my prints in a stiffer quality envelope to ensure it doesn't bend and I would expect the same form similar buyers.

Just always keep in mind that the envelope or box is like a piece of armour for your product, so which one is going to do the best job and still be cost effective?

I sell small items so I giftwrap, bubble wrap, and then place in a padded envelope. As a buyer, I am more concerned with purchases getting to me safely than any aesthetic concerns.

I see that your items are soft goods so breakage is not a worry--for me a lovely pretty box if you are paying for it--if I am paying--just get it to me the fastest-cheapest way remembering I will expect it to arrive as fresh and clean as when you shipped it--no packaging that might come apart.
Your items are very nice and I hope you will have many sales.
