Another CPSIA (?) Question!! :)

ok - so like everyone, i don't understand this or agree with it - but....maybe someone can answer my question...

i too don't understand the whole art/children's illegal item thing....i sometimes make things that can be used in a child's room - decoratively (aka - a child wouldn't be chewing on it)

if you just tag it as art, decoration, etc and NOT in children/baby....although it could be used in a child's room (if the person who purchases it does so) - is this illegal???

and PS shouldn't be the consumers right to buy whatever they please and use it as they please - not the government?????

I believe if your item is not intended for children, and you are not marketing it toward children, then you should not be held liable if the consumer chooses to use it for a child. That is my OPINION.
