Hi there could you please advise what I should say on this I believe I need to put a disclaimer for parental supervision? Thanks!

In general disclaimers and advisories won't work to avoid lead, phthalates, or small parts testing and the required permanent labeling if the federal government classifies the item as primarily a childs product, in other words a product used for, by, or on some one under 13 more often than by some one over that age. In fact disclaimers may lead the clerks at the CPSC that are starting to comb the web to better pin point untested children's products.

You are advertising this item for Children who are cubs fans, therefore by your admission and marketing statement, it is a child's product.

Glass beads have specifically be called out as needing to be tested for lead content.

Toys also must undergo push/pull/tear apart testing. This toy testing is in affect now.

You also need to have CPSIA labeling.

You may also have a copyright problem if the puppet is made in the likeness of a sports team's mascot. They are usually very tight on copyright/trademark issues.

Would it be possible for the eyes to be crocheted or felted like the rest of the face? Being glass beads rules them out for anyone under 13, unless they've been tested.
