I went to the link supplied by past perfect and sent emails with my own comments as well. I will continue to do this to help fight this law. I'm beginning to get some hope back that maybe something will change.

I've been getting their emails for months! They are one of the few sites that mention the CPSIA (outside of the industry or overlawyered) with some degree of regularity, though I haven't seen anything recently.

This is awsome Pastperfect. Its the kind of shot in the arm we all need from time to time to keep fighting this. I wrote in another blog today that I must be getting through to someone in congress with all my letters, phone calls and emails. When I called Congressman Higgans office today I was put through to Washington to a supervisor. He asked me to write again with the questions I have and he would be getting back to me. We knew this would be a long fight and we are still in this.

LaurieRyan sent me the link to this forum in a separate post. What can I do to help? I am just diving in to the entire CPSIA thing and my eyes are so wide and my heart is filled with a bit of fear about it all. I want to help in any way I can, but am not sure who to write or what to include other than a silly one line statement of "Please do not do this!". ;) Any help?

Hey megan go to the link OP added here and go from there I think there are addresses for you to write to people there also don't be afraid to write to pres Obama and ask him for his help. I have his address on my computer if you need it. just convoy me if you want that one ok?

The only drawback to signing up for it is getting daily emails (my inbox is rather full). But they are very often interesting and they also have campaigns for Audit the Fed and Read The Bills Act.
