Business Card Exchange

I would like to create a way from members to exchange business cards. This way when the time comes to refer each other business, we can actually hand over each others cards.

I'm in the process of printing cards under the name PS: Design & Print. In this time, lets think of a way to possibly mail a handful of cards to each other.

How do we feel about this?

That's a good idea. Business networking groups often carry binders or pamphlets with all the groups cards inside.

I can definitely create a layout of all your cards. I need to look into how to make a directory of some kind. Let me know if you find anything out, and I will surely do the same.

Oh nice! Def. a good way to market other businesses.

Does does the group admin settings allow? Anything about adding websites, etc?

I think the best way to organize this is have some kind of external directory that is image/text based. Those with business card images can be directly upload, those without could have a generic template with the info listed.

Does that make any sense?

Makes sense. Only we need a place to host this. Have you any free web ideas? I can get started on the actual spread sometime soon. I'll need to drop by everyone's shop and steal your info ;)

I need everyone's contact for buys, a quick blurb about what everyone sells and a digital copy of business cards for those who have them. Everyone will have a designated cube of pace for their card and info..

I may even print a few hard copies and send them out to those who want them (free of course)

Hmm, no ideas just yet... what about google docs? thats the only thing on the top of my head so far, I'm out of town and wont be able to do any thorough research on the subject just yet.

I'm going to start this off with business cards, and we can grow everyones section after that.

If you do not have a card, please e-mail text of your shop name, your name, contact info and color scheme. I'll typset a square for you.
