They usually take 50% ,some take 60. But I have noticed some are only taking 40% lately because of the economy. So adjust your price's accordingly so you don't get the short end.
There are some that are shops first and galleries second, and they will sometimes take only 30%. I know one that takes only 10% but they pretty much just have the paintings stacked up against the walls.
