Hello i would like to take the time to tell ya a bit abut us and introduce myself !.
My name is Crystal i am a stay at home mother of 2 with a 3d on the way :) i am a very busy mother running a shop and making chainmail and chasing the kids, But i love to make friends and see people love the shop and i love to support others and love support in return. I look forward to being in this team meeting others and seeing all the fascinating creations :)
How did we get Started?
Well I and my Husband was always interested in chainmailling , We thought it to be a beautiful art and craft that could also be very rewarding . We first saw chainmail being made by a friend we called Flea , he was our room mate and taught us some basics . The about 3 years later we ran into a guy that got us truly started , sadly he is no longer here in this area but we still give him credit for helping us all out. Nobu one of the guild members that is listed has been with us as a brother for 7 years , he decided to also get into chainmailing with us and became one the guild, Damien joined up with us a year and a half ago he has allot of talent in making armor and jewelry he is also in the local SCA Phoenix Glade so he will also be at most of their events . Clark joined up with us last year and has advanced quickly in learning weaves and creating the most complex items.
We are just like a family we call each other brother and sister and help one another out when needed . I and my Husband are truly happy to have such a good family guild of artist. We are all hard workers and do our best on all the items you see listed in the shop. We are picky about our rings to insure that they are all in great shape and their are no weak links.
All the items you see made from chainmail are all hand crafted and all the bright aluminum wire is hand ran into coils and hand clipped , this takes a very long time and the weaves you see are not simple they are all complex and take some time to complete. We always insure that our work is done right and will fit and be as comfortable as possible.
