Shipping to Kuwait

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a package to get to Kuwait from the US? I shipped an order on April 30th to Kuwait. On May 2 it left a USPS sort facility in Chicago and there hasn't been any tracking on it since. The customer contacted me yesterday telling me they hadn't received the package yet.

I have shipped to Kuwait a few times with no problems. I tell all my International customers to expect their package in 2-4 weeks.

Since I am new to Etsy and have no idea how to set up for international shipping, can you explain how one ships internationally?

I've shipped to the UAE and Kuwait on a number of occasions and in most cases it takes about 3 -4 weeks.

For some reason packages to Kuwait seem to take longer than to most other countries.

Vpirrone, all you need do is use the USPS rate table and look up the weights of your packaged items for a few different countries to determine the shipping costs. I set a rate for Canada and then one for 'everywhere else' as its just about the same for everywhere else.

When I'm determining my 'everywhere else' rate I'll usually use the rate for Australia as my guide
