Only following the Steelers this year Klaire. They are so so this year as like last year. Perhaps they will do better in upcoming games.

We are expecting rain later tonight and into tomorrow. We shall see if it actually appears.

Rain here, chilly, with a snow mixed in--not much I am hoping.

Annie, a Steeler fan all the way in Cal? I'm not allowed to cheer them guys. My son with whom I live, is a dyed in the wool (forever) Browns fan.
He tossed me out of the brown's fan club. In order to get back in I have to write a 500 word essay, praising the Browns. However, I told him I can't think of 500 good words to say--:-)

I'm home after a great weekend of fun. Dressed up on Friday night. Tim, I know you saw that picture on FB! I make a great witch!

I had a package go missing that was shown delivered by UPS last week and am trying to track it down. They have an online form to fill out. I really hope they find it. The buyer had a hard time getting through the payment process and I had to help her. Wouldn't you know that would be the package that gets lost. :-(

I'm off and running this morning. I've got to go have some blood work done for my yearly thyroid testing. No rest for the wicked or weary.

Hey, the Browns won--cough, cough--this Thursday they take on the C Bengals --I'm not counting any chickens that the Browns are going to take that game.--sigh---

Julie, :-( about the package gone missing. I had that several years ago on a silk scarf. The PO stated it never reached its destination. So, it well could have been taken by an PO employee.--:-(
From the look of your FB photo looks like fun was to be had--:-)

Julie, I had that happen with something I sent to my brother in CT. The tracking showed delivered but they didn't have it. However, it mysteriously appeared a day or so later. We think they must have left it at the wrong address to honest people. Frustrating and discouraging for a customer. I sure hope it turns up.

Up early. Got much to do today. A computer guy is calling at 9am to fix my slow computer via remote system.

The cleaning up the flower pots outdoors. Going to be in the 60's , so want to enjoy it!

It's a gray day here with rain expected overnight.

The kiln is firing with a bisque load so glazing later this week.

I'm so relieved the lady found her package. Of course, now I've got UPS calling me to tell me the investigation may take 8-10 days after I already told them she found it! Heavy sigh.

I'll be heading to the studio this morning and then the usual rounds of grocery store/drug store/PO.

Tuning in late. My computer was out of commission and the fix it guy just brought it back.

Beautiful day but I didn't do much.

What I was holding my tongue about is the chain reaction of distress and wasted energy just from one little oversight - which turns out to be her not telling her mother about the package.

Tomorrow I'm going to go antiquing and second hand furniture store snooping, plus have a great lunch. That's the plan! And to buy more caulk of COURSE. Nobody would want to run out of caulk. Right?

I know what you mean, Jan. I'm so...what's the word...OCD that the minute I knew there might be a problem I had to jump right in. I should have waited a day for her to find it even though technically it had been delivered for 3 days. Well, it all turned out fine. Now I know how the UPS system works if it ever comes up again. Learning experience, yeah, that's the ticket! ;-)

More work in the shop today. Unloading bisque later. Probably won't be able to glaze till Sunday.

Klaire, glad you are back on line. Computers, can't live without them. :-(

I just want to put everyone's mind at ease that I did find some caulk yesterday!

Didn't buy any treasures, though. Which makes it a good day, in a way...!...But it WAS a good day out and about.

I did! Thank you. They are great. I'm making my daughter a utensil holder for Christmas and am going to put the utensils in it. I'm keeping the little surprise spoon! The wood "balm" will come in handy. I'll go do feedback right now.

Good morning! I'm heading out of town for the day. Funeral. Meh.

Beautiful weather here but cold expected by the end of the week.

Everybody ready for the cold weather? I'm almost set. One more humidifier to locate a water pad for and have the grandson move some of the firewood from the pile at the rear of my property up close to the basement door. Everything else is buttoned up...I hope.

At least it's not going to be as bad here, as my son is getting in Minneapolis. 12 inches of white stuff predicted for today! I guess I had better pull out the snow blower and make sure it still runs. Bleh.
