I heard Jan, that it's because you do not favor the heat is the reason the weather there is not sure what to do--;)

Beautiful here sun, bright blue sky's,temps mid 70's , night s in the sleeping well, 50's--:) Ah, the gods have favored us--:)

Mowing the lawn again this afternoon--other than that not much going on--:)

I am very safe from this fire. You never know about the next one. Home from vacation and it has not been an easy transition to work. Came in early so I better start.

Got up to snow - still snowing. What a surprise. Barely above freezing.
I hope the weather clears up for weddings!

Annie, fire sounds much worse. Much, much.

That turkey business is a JOB. But my part is done. I didn't finish until nearly 7 last night. Uff da as we Norskies say. (I was very pleased with how it turned out - juicy white meat. I had not cooked one upside down for a long time.)

Rain, rain and more rain! I wish I could send it to Annie! I know we'll be happy about it when we head into the summer but not right now!

Heading to Walmart for the 3rd time in a week. I hate to go there but I have a list of last minute things I need before the big day.

OK, we're are soggy here!! Inches of rain. I don't know what our contingency plan is if we don't finish the deck. I don't think my house will hold 90 people.

I made it to the studio yesterday to start glazing. I can't do anything outside that doesn't involve bending over and picking up stuff and it's too wet, anyway. So I'm headed back over today. More spinning bowls to glaze and a custom order.

Monday, Monday!

I think the sun is coming out(she said in a whisper).

OMG, we have a ton of stuff to do. Still constructing and the yard is a mess. Truck loads of stuff need to go to the dump. I need to clean the carpet and cut grass. My sister and mom are coming Fri. My daughter helped me get the guest rooms ready. My son and his family are on their way from Colorado. The house will be full!
