Hello lovely ladies !!! :)
I am so excited to have finally started this team.
This is my first team on Etsy and I am kind of a sparatic poster so this team won;t be super serious or anything .. I just thought it would be neat to have a place on Etsy where all of us who have chatted and networked on instagram could connect !

A little bit about me... most of ya'll already know a lot about me from Instagram but since we are likely to grow I will say a few things about myself :)

I am a stay at home mom to my little girl, Presley. I try to make and sell jewelry full time and I am super passionate about it. I am also passionate about sharing other peoples art & helping their business to grow as well. If you have a good happy positive attitude and you are creative than you deserve to succeed at what you are wanting to do - there is room for all of us !!!!

I am currently engaged to my soulmate who also makes a lot of the jewelry in my shop - we are really enjoying working together full time this year - it has been quite the ride ! We collect old Vw's and live in a little town just North of Atlanta Georgia !

I was wondering if any Etsy shop owners would be interested in starting a pen pal craft box?

Groups of etsy shop owners form a team, and one person starts a priority mail box of all their crafty items they dont really use much anymore and are willing to give away, they ship it to the next store owner and that store owner takes out what they like and adds into the box (and so on).

The only rules are to always keep the box full of items (dont take everything out and only place one item in) - and ship it back out within 6-7 days. We like to be fair and courteous to the next receiver!

The box constantly travels among shop owners and it gives everyone a chance to receive fun gifts in the mail and get rid of tidbits they dont use anymore!

Message me for details if you are interested in starting this up! it'd be a fun way to meet shop owners and get a pen pal again like when we were kids :)

Hi everyone!
My name is Noel, and I create fused glass art.
Although my full time profession is that of a performer, I have always enjoyed all forms of art. I am both a creator of art and an avid patron of the arts.
I was an etsy buyer long before I opened a shop here.
I love working with glass for many reasons.
One of my main reasons is that my sister and I always loved glass art. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she said we should learn how to do stained glass- so we did.
After she died, I continued to do stained glass, but I was always drawn to fused glass jewelry. I learned how to do it, and I fell in love with the ability to melt glass. My family has certainly been changed by the fires of cancer... But like fused glass... we are also able to still be beautiful even though we are changed.
I feel close to my sister when I work with glass. The art form holds both artistic interest to me and also emotional connection.
Looking forward to being a part of this team.

My name is Andrea, I have "met" many of you via Instagram and am so excited I found this group! A little about myself....I am from and currently live in Austin, Texas. For many years I indulged my hippy nature traveled across the US following shows, from Red Rocks to Tennessee to the Pacific Northwest. I love nature, the outdoors, music, dancing, and positive people! In 2005 I left the US to travel Central America, where I lived for about 6 years. My two beautiful children were born down there - my daughter, Tierra Symone, was born in Costa Rica and my son, Ezekiel Ryder, was born in Guatemala. While living in Guatemala, I worked with a shamanic group, performing fire ceremonies in sacred sites including the citadel of Tikal. I also opened a bookstore, Zuvuya, that specialized in esoteric and conspiracy texts. It was an amazing time!

I have been back in the states for about 4 years now, my wanderlust has subsided a bit and I have focused my attention on the creative. I have been making jewelry as a hobby for some 15 years and am using it now to jump-start my creative endeavor. I also love to make macrame, garden and to design succulent planters :) I have also been studying sacred geometry for some time and enjoy drawing mandalas, so I am looking for a way to work that in as well at some point.

I am so thankful to have found this wonderful creative community, it has inspired me so much and really keeps me going when the going gets tough - the love, kindness and support is both amazing and humbling.
