Cleaning house here today! Ugh! Hoping to get some sewing in maybe this weekend or next week-I have lots of ideas in my head that need to get out!

Haha..I hate cleaning house. With 2 small boys still running around it is worthless to clean cause in like 10 minutes it's dirty again.

I agree, Tiffany--my house is messy all the time with 2 teenagers and an almost 2 year old running around. It's a losing battle, so I might as well just focus on sewing!

Hello everyone - sorry I'm late to the party today - been crazy cleaning out my crafting area so I can be better organized!

I'm excited that all of my fabric is now in my bedroom in a nice neat shelving unit rather than in drawers! I had three sterilite drawer systems stuffed with fabric! I'd forget what I had stashed and would get something else.

You should see the squares I already had cut out for wash cloths that I totally forgot about! YIPES!

I also agree - I have a 5yr old, 3yr old and 30 yr old hubby that can tear the place apart fairly quick!

My sister wants us to go swimming tomorrow - but I must admit I am always nervous taking the kids to the pool since I am not a good swimmer AT ALL!!

I am at some sort of comfort knowing my oldest nephew although just 14 - has been on the swim team for 3 years now and is an amazing swimmer - some ease...some ease lol

Not feeling the love yet...I think too many people belong to too many teams and they seem to get lost and can't keep up.

I was nervous bringing the kids swimming. Just get them a life jackets and they will be fine. My 3 yr old had a life vest on when we were in Michigan visiting family. He was brave enough to jump off the diving board (he jumped into someone's arms) but still..He was lovin it!

I am sooo excited about the challenge. I must say I think my piece looks pretty cool! Just need to finish sewing the squares together and decide on a backing.

my kids are so fearless - when we went to the water park our daughter (3) kept telling us she could go o the lazy river alone lol - I was like no I don't think so lol

cleaning house takes days here! I currently have my two kids (6 and 3), my nephew (11) here during the weekday days, and my neice (18) who moved in with us! Plus my hubby to pick up after...UGH! But my whole fam will be here Sunday so thought it was time to tackle it! Got some done yesterday-more to do today and tomorrow too
