Thanks for letting me join your team. I just opened my second Etsy shop, the First Skeleton Stitch is a collection of my favorite vintage finds, while this new shop, Skeleton Hearts is going to be all items made by me. I look forward to being more creative to build up my stock pile of things to sell.

I am still trying to figure things out. I am attorney who can't find a job so I spend my days crafting, shopping, blogging, reading, and searching the internet for job leds. I also try to garden and cook in there. I live in Sacramento, CA with my husband a teacher and our cat and dog.

My name is Amanda, 20-years-old, from Pennsylvania, USA. I'm an aspiring jewelry designer/EMT-paramedic. I know, weird combo. My creative side loves making things, diy projects, cooking, baking, yada yada yada. Then I have my logical/scientific side that is fascinated and sort of obsessed by the human anatomy and all of the factors that come into play to make every inch of the body move (body mechanics). To make things weirder, I adore rock and metal music and jam out to that while I make things. Oh and I day dream daily of one day owning a Harley Davidson (current dream bike is a Heritage Softail Clasic).

My style is kind of eclectic. I'm not sure what I'd call me. I've been called goth, scene, hipster, geeky, rocker, you name it. I guess I fit each one a tad bit. I am a huge fan of things that are organic with an edgy twist to them.

I'm one of those crazies who believes in destiny... we are all destined for something great in our lives, whether it be small or big in the eyes of the collective "them," or simply something that is of significance to yourself or the people you love.
I'm a "daddy's girl" --always have been, and two things he always said have stuck with me as an adult... 1) "Men are pigs" & 2) "We can't handle the truth"
Off the bat, it sounds 1) rude & 2) a cop-out ---but when contemplated in a deeper-sense and if we're honest with ourselves, both are true. Have you noticed yet, how easily I get off on random topics? What can I say, I love discussions, learning new things, and practicing the art of perfecting myself to the best of my known ability.

One of my favorite quotes from Lousia May Alcott's "Little Women," is when the character Friedrich says, "If only we could transcend ourselves without perfection."

This "get to know" session could be 1,000 pages if I wanted to explain all the things that make me "tick," but since nobody wants to know all of that LOL I'll state my business here on Etsy...
