New to Team

Hi everyone,
I am a college student from Springfield, Mo and I am very excited to be on this team. I randomly decided to purchase an embroidery machine about two months ago. I've watched many "How To" videos but I have primarily taught myself how to do everything. Besides taking a sewing class in middle school, I was completely clueless to any type of needle crafts. I decided to buy the cheapest embroidering machine on the market which is the Brother PE 500 and it has been touch and go ever since. I'm excited to learn on my own and from my fellow machine embroiderers. I'm eager to learn from everyone on this team and I'm more than happy to take any critiques on my listings or shop!
Happy Saturday,
-Cheyanne Ashe

Re: New to Team

Hello, I just joined also.
I purchased a used Viking Designer LESE last year with the 5D program with it. I haven't used it much seems a bit overwhelming right now. I did have a customer who wanted her baby's name embroidered on the back of a blanket so I leaned that very fast. I didn't like how it came out but my customer loved it.
Hopefully I can learn how to use the machine and program.

Re: New to Team

Hi, I'm also new to the machine embroidery world - just bought a Brother LB6800 and having massive issues with thread snapping and needles breaking. Is there anyone in the LA area that would be willing to give me some lessons?
Thanks, Natalie

Re: New to Team

Hi everyone, I'm also new to the team. I've had my Janome 12000 for a few months and also have the Digitizer MBX software. Trying to concentrate on doing some of my own digitized designs at the moment but it's very time-consuming!

Re: New to Team

Hi everyone. I have just joined the group. I am in embroidery business for more than 11 years. It's totally a great business. I love it. I have three big machines in total 16 heads. I have a lot of embroidery designs that we have created for us and our client. If you like to see them go to my shop on Etsy: NataLogShop. I have just started the shop and keep adding new stuff. Hope you like it. Also we can create designs for you. Would love if you can help me and review my product. Thank you

Re: New to Team

I have also just joined this team, I've been embroidering for about 3 years now and LOVE it. I want a multi needle machine so bad! lol But I am happy with my Ellegante too! I set up my shop a couple of years ago but haven't made that step to list anything yet.

Re: New to Team

In response to Natalie Robertson
Polyester Embroidery threads are stronger, try King Star I have never had this thread break on me.
Embroidery Titanium needles size 80/12 are great and last a long time.
If you are having needles breaking, try this. Clean your machine and bobbin case, check that your bobbin tension and upper tension are not to tight. If this fails have your machine services. regards Maryann
