I will be first to get this thread rolling! Here is my latest leather aviator hat in my shop. What I love about this is the fact I finally perfected the six- panel WWI era aviator helmet! Its a timeless style of hat that looks good on just about anyone who wears it! It is not mandatory that you own an airplane or ride a motorbike in order sport one of these awesome hats!

Here's one from me: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/181578660/multiway-hip-chain-necklace-headdress

I'm so proud of this because it is so versatile and unusual. You can wear it as separate pieces. I have not seen anything quite like it (so I will be making more).

Re: Post ONE item and tell us why you're PROUD of it!

I like this idea! Sometimes it's not just about the item, it's the story behind it.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/224453435/hand-painted-bat-choker-necklace?ref=shop_home_active_9

I created this necklace a few weeks ago and think it is totally awesome. Sometimes I am a little nervous about painting new images, and this is the first bat-shaped necklace I've made. I was going for a realistic-but-cute-and-cartoonish look, how did I do?

Re: Post ONE item and tell us why you're PROUD of it!

Hello all, lately I have gained a lot of interest in natural stones, I like the science behind all of them and started to read a lot of geology on my own and from that, my new items came out:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/226409802/quartz-and-amethyst-ooak-necklace-free?ref=shop_home_feat_3
so in here i tried to make a necklace so earthy and with so raw elements that it would be something a fairy would wear for example :) and so all of my latest items have been inspired in this fairy-esque style :D is how i imagine if faeries would exist, they would wear items handcrafted from rought materials gotten from the land (n___n) so as you can see, new materials used thanks to my love and passion for science, mixed with my crazyness and love to the whimsical an romantic of fairies (*u*)

by the way, Lilly I loved the bat necklace :D what material is that? polymer clay? I am always in awe of all the shapes others can achieve with polymer clay, cause I have absolutely no talent on sculpting hehhehehe... really cool!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/152599589/frost-ring-of-numen-deaooak-sterling?ref=shop_home_active_5

I'm proud of this piece not because it's my most elaborate or most beautiful, but because it began as an effort to be completely spontaneous and simple. I have a tendency to design for added dimension, and I often challenge myself to do what I've never done before, and that can take a lot of time--but I designed this as I went along, just asking the wing what it wanted to be. In the end, the fluidity and whimsical feel of it really radiated the magic that I try to imbue all of my pieces with.

I imagine I will get a rush of excitement, a thrill of laughter, and a sense of enthused awe when the woman who this ring was meant for finally makes it hers...that she's out there in the world is reassuring that the others Keepers of the Magic are not yet extinct..

I'm proud of this anniversary owl gift set because I was inspired by journey and dream keys. I came up with "The Journey today is just as important as our Dreams of tomorrow."

Hi everyone!
I'm proud of this doll gown because I love how it all came together. Sometimes when I'm making something, it just feels magical; this one has that extra something.

I've enjoyed reading about your items!

Sadly I've still had to delete a few posts from those who did not read the initial post (or the post title!)

Re: Post ONE item and tell us why you're PROUD of it!

I am really proud of all my OOAK items as I've worked on them from scratch! Design starts with a simple idea, it is then transferred on paper and then on my favorite material, polymer clay! In particular, my steampunk seahorse is currently the item I am most proud of! Isn't he lovely? :D

My latest design - cosmic hand-melted purple glass ear plugs. Took nearly two years in the making but I have finally mastered this design! My favourite design yet!

https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/235685050/goth-skull-birthday-card-blank-card?ref=shop_home_active_1

I'm really happy with how this card turned out. I started on it a few weeks ago in Photoshop. But I let it sit because it didn't look right. I replaced the skull. The old one had a candle on the skull, but it didn't really work for me.

On my second try I added a present box and a peeling paint texture which I had to adjust the brightness and fade it a bit.

The only thing I regret is that I'm out of black envelopes. The black envelopes would have looked spectacular with a gold pen.

Re: Post ONE item and tell us why you're PROUD of it!

I am very proud of this one of a kind "dragon" fused glass pendant I created. I started layering glass... After each firing, the layers started showing through so beautifully. Fused glass is always more vibrant in person than it can ever be in a picture- but the final layer of color and design appears to float on top of the piece. Every time I look at it, I'm amazed.
As a lifelong fan of dragons and fantasy... It is right up my alley.

I am proud of this piece because a.) It was really my first painting of a face and because b. ) Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favourite authors so anything EAP warms my heart.

I'm proud of this new shirt because it is a collaboration between a friend and myself. I told him what inspired me in my fashion and he made an image out of it. Also, this is my first time doing screen printing in about sixteen years.

Re: Post ONE item and tell us why you're PROUD of it!

I really love this Day of the Dead painting I created for several reasons. I am from Tucson and we honor the Day of the Dead with a huge event each year. It is amazing and I encourage anybody who can to come check it out. Really, it's amazing. Performers, art, celebration… it's wonderful. This painting also incorporates a tattoo-style edge to it, which is very "me" and one of my favorite styles to draw and paint. Lastly, I added glitter. I love glitter. I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, but I think the juxtaposition of dark or edgy images with a little glitter is pretty awesome.

I just joined this group, and I have to say, I already love seeing everybody's creations!

I am proud of this piece because it was a request with SEVERAL requirements... kind of a new endeavor, and in the end, she was EXUBERANTLY THRILLED with it! Really made me feel good!
