Baby, it's Cold Outside!

I'm visiting my parents right outside of Toledo, OH. I was excited to visit a few friends and relax. I've had plenty of relaxation because there has been a level 3 snow warning, making it illegal for us to drive around. Fortunately, we have everything we need.

Is everything ok with all of our Midwest and Northeast members?

What do you do when you're trapped inside? We've been playing lots of cards and dominoes!

Emily, I am in South Bend, IN. We were completely snowbound Sunday and Monday, but things are moving again. The cold has been dreadful. We lost our lovely gazebo to the heavy snow and wind. My hubby and I spent most of the time catching up on movies and video-started Walking Dead Season 3. I was sick, so staying in bed was my only option anyway!

This weather's been crazy! I heard someone singing 'Blame Canada' in the mall yesterday. Had a bit of a chuckle.

Emily, I've never heard of a level 3 snow warning. I hear Ohio gets winter weather way worse than New York though. It sounds like you're having a good time with the fam though!

I'm sorry to hear about your gazebo, Kim. Is it fixable?

It's been pretty insane here. Last night my tire literally shredded itself and went into a stinky, smoking mess on my way to pick up my husband from school. The 2 minutes I took standing outside examining the melted rubber that remained of my poor tire, my fingers and ears felt like they were going to fall off.
