New Shop

Hi Everyone,

I started my shop about 3 months ago and it has been slow going. I have some likes and favorites, but no sales yet through etsy. Any tips that more experienced sellers can give would be appreciated.

Re: New Shop

Hi

How much use do you make of social media? If you look at our profile page you'll see we're with various places; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. We created accounts for our store with the exception of Facebook where we created a page via our own personal accounts. And on our Facebook page you can go to our Etsy store. This is also the case with all our other accounts. When we share anything on our Besom accounts we always go in via our personal accounts and shares any posts we've done on Besom and so sharing our store even further.

Do you have a link to your store so we can see what your store looks likes?

Re: New Shop

I've just found your store. You have some lovely things and nicely photographed too.

One of the things we have started doing is that we do a couple of cleaner shots with a neutral background. But we also photograph them in a home setting too so our customers can picture them in their own home. Of course lighting is the key, as long as they are clear a little subdued lighting is fine given you've already showed nice clean pictures too.

May I ask why you are only shipping in the US? We're in GB, but we ship world wide. We opened in January and have just had our 13th sale. We mostly sell in GB, but we have also had sales elsewhere.
