What is your favorite book in the trilogy and why?

What is your favorite book? Favorite part and character? Im going to be asking a lot of hunger games questions so be ready!

hmmmm.....I really like them all but I think the first one is my favorite. Peeta is my fav character lol, he's just such a sweetheart and so genuine. Can't think of my favorite part though, probably when they're in the caves together or the very end of Mockingjay!

My favorite part is in the second book when Katniss and Peeta hide out on the outdoor patio / roof area all day and just pretend like they don't have to worry about anything - make the most of their possible last day alive. Peeta is such a sweetheart!

I think my favorite book is the first one. But, I will be honest, I am not sure, I read them all within a week, so they sort of blend together. My favorite character is Chinna, but there are a lot of good ones. But, the kid going to play Peeta, Josh Hutcherson, is a favorite actor of mine, so he's going to kick butt!

I think my favorite book is the first one but I could not put any of them down. My favorite moment is when Peeta tells the head game maker that he has been in love with Katniss most of his life.That is such a good moment. I think Rue is my favorite character. I know she is not very big but she is so moving. So sweet.

That is such a tough question! I love The Hunger Games because of the amazing descriptions of the capital and the outrageous makeup and fashion! All three books are fantastic and sad. I read them in 4 days. I couldn't get enough!

Wow! Thats a tough one. I really liked the second book when they had to go back into the hunger games again. My favorite character is Katniss because she's so hard on the outside but a softy on the inside.

Thank you all for your responses, I have to say I love all the books but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the first one, favorite character is peeta, and my favorite part was in the cave.

My favorite actually was Mockingjay. Felt the most real to me. I also really liked the first one, but by the end of it I hated Katniss so much so I almost didn't want to go on. I just fell in love with Peeta so much that I was angry with her for not doing the same. I think it was for him that I continued with the books. After following her character to the end, I have more respect for her and for Collins for ending on a note that was true to her character.

My favorite book is the third, and my favorite character in it is Katniss. It shows how deep her devotion to her family and friends and the people she feels have become a part of her along the way - she's so smart and aware of her surroundings and self at all times, even when no one else can read her.

My favorite was the first book cause it (for me at least) was the most exciting. But I liked them all. My favorite character is Peeta and Haymitch! I'm not sure why I like Haymitch so much I just do. Oh and of course Primrose! n.n But my favorite part (in the first book) Is probably the whole entire cave scene and the feast.

My favorite book was Hunger Games. And then Mockingjay. But, they were all great.
My favorite part was when Haymitch and Katniss got drunk together in Catching Fire. Haha! PRICELESS!
My favorite character is 1000 percent Gale. He is amazing and so is Liam Hemsworth!

Hm... Tough beans. I think my favorite was the first one because it seemed so unpredictable, ya know? All the twists and turns kept me wanting to cozy up with it by a fire with some hot coco! :):)

Favorite character was Cato, in the movie though. The reason is because At the last part, right before he dies, he admits that what he is doing is wrong, but it's all that he has known. Besides him, I like Peeta. He was the most sincere character throughout the book/movie....:D

The second one was the hardest for me to put down, but mostly because I was so nervous that everyone was going to die at every page :) I think the last was my favorite to read, but I really loved each one. peeta is my favorite character always.

I have to say my favorite has to be the second book or third book. I like Cato, Rue, and Finnick the most. I actually love almost all of the tributes like Peeta who is so kind, Cato whose brute strength is insane, and Katniss of course because of her attitude. Oops, I almost forgot to say my favorite part. My favorite part has to be between two parts, when Haymitch tells them to stay alive as advice and also when Katniss is in District 2 when the 'Nut' is taken down then she gets shot.

I really loved all of them, I read them in 3 days so the stories kinda blend together for me. I broke down at the end when Katniss finds Buttercup. I don't know why that made me cry like it did but I sobbed. I was really pleased with the ending too. It felt complete, real.

I really hope they stick with the story in Mockingjay. Although, if they do it will mean an 'R' rating. It's a really violent book.
