Oh, I know!! Have you seen it? What are our thoughts? I liked it - but I liked the book better.

I loved Woody Harrelson as Haymitch.

Victor ( my man) came with me and I think some of it really - not confused him so much- but I guess wasn't as touching or interesting to him because he didn't read the books. Like I don't think it was really clear why the Mom was so useless, or how/ why Rue and Katniss got so close ( plus he is a guy and didn't get the whole "little sister" thing anyway.

I dunno. I liked it a lot, but now a week past it, I think I personally enjoyed the IDEA of seeing the movie better than the movie itself.

Or maybe I just need a candy bar right this second? Yeah- that!

Yes, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch was a GREAT choice. I do think a lot was left out - always is. The mom thing was totally missed as it was just one quick line about falling apart after their dad died. I think Peeta was a little too smooth. I felt like in the book he was charismatic but in a shyish, school boy way not so smooth. I don't know. Yeah, I like the idea of the movie too - and overall I liked the cast so I was easily able to incorporate them in how I picture it in my head. :)

I;m a little late getting in the game. My daughter insisted I go to see Hunger Games with her last night. I just started reading the book, so I didn't want to ruin it, but I went anyway. I LOVED this movie!! Can't wait to finish the book and move onto the next one!
