Crochet Thread Information help

Hello! I would like to have an information about the size of the thread. I know about Aunt Lydia's Classic crochet thread in size 10 but have never used DMC Cebelia in size 10. Are they the same in thickness and quality? Did anyone ever made anything like tops or dresses? What is the best quality thread in size 10 would be suitable for garments/clothes. I would very appreciate for any of your advice or ideas. Thank you.

Did anyone every answer your question? One of my books says that Cebelia is a three-cord cotton thread and it has a shine. It is often used for ornaments because they are not laundered.
I hope this helps. I would not use Cebelia for clothing as the three - ply is not as sturdy as a six- ply thread.
