Re: INTRODUCE Yourself

Hi Ann - thank you for inviting me to the team!
I come from a family of collectors & pack rats - so vintage, collecting & crafting runs in my blood!
My German grandma taught me how to sew & do embroidery - we worked on various projects over the years, and improving my skill to making clothing.
I developed a love for and talent with chalk paint to change my own home decor, which led me to upcycle/repurpose for others to enjoy as well - that is how I started my etsy shop 1 year ago :)
My talent with painting came in handy recently with the home my boyfriend and I just moved into - we had to rehabilitate the bedrooms, living room, bathroom, and last but not least the kitchen - which we turned into a retro 50's design!
I have a daughter, 3 kitty cats, and 2 chinchillas; along with being a mom to my boyfriends 3 children.
I do get pretty busy between work, home life and my etsy shop - honestly, I love etsy so much I wish my shop was my full-time job!

Re: INTRODUCE Yourself

Hello!
My name is Heather and I love vintage romantic decor. Just about everything I love falls into the Shabby category with my favorite being Shabby French. I love true shabby chic. Shabby and chic. Mixing elegant things like chandeliers or ornate old mirrors with old chippy paint finishes and patina's and faded fabrics. Love it!
I have loved playing store and decorating since I was a little girl. So, it's no surprise that it became my line of work! : )
I have 2 furry kids. One blue tick beagle and a mini-pin. Both were rescued. I love all animals but especially dogs.
Thanks for the invite to the team!

Re: INTRODUCE Yourself

Hello, my name is Sheila, and I crochet rag rugs. I love the shabby chic look and am thinking of redoing my whole house in this style. I love the art of taking something that would not be useful to someone else, and repurposing it into something beautiful

Re: INTRODUCE Yourself

Hi,
I'm Dawn and I love all things vintage, cottage, shabby and pretty. I've collected vintage china for years and always been creative. I started making cakes stands as a hobby and now run my business full time creating items from vintage china, glass and vinyl. There's something for every pocket from teacup bird feeder to bespoke teacup chandeliers.

Re: INTRODUCE Yourself

Hello and thank you for offering me an invite to your team. I think I will be very comfortable here because I find that the majority of lampshades I enjoy making seem to have the cottage decor appeal. I am especially fond of showing off beautiful vintage embroidery and utilizing it within my lampshades. Thanks again!!

Re: INTRODUCE Yourself

Hey,
My name is Ave, I live and work in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, little North European country. I live in 100 years old wooden urban house with my husband and 3 children. We run a little family workshop to recycle, upcycle and restore old furniture and historical building details.

I am a designer and upholsterer, urban gardener and promoter of sustainable urban living style. I salvage flea market finds and transform them to vintage decor and home accessoirs.

My great passion is upcycling and repurposing: old furniture, kitchen utensils, vintage lace, reused building material and vintage paper material are my favourite. Repaper art is my meditation.

Thank You for including me to this team, I really appreciate it. It´s so important to find supportive teams, to hold motivation and to be inspired by other incredible Etsy shops. You are all so talented, so I feel honored to be here.
