Love the idea of a chat thread! How was everyone's weekend!? Mine was good but hectic (of course)! Yesterday I helped Mr. Plum with a remodeling project - he is a contractor in the Raleigh area and I go along to fetch tools and such when I can.
Today I spent 5 hours running errands that I've been putting off!

My weekend was GREAT! too short now it is already over and back to work, I am drinking my required cup of coffee and then out the door to a long day of teaching college:)
I listed 2 items this morning

I worked on photos Friday and Saturday, yesterday i took the day semi off I was on and off ETSY but it was not a chore:)

I was just thinking how could we help each other promote our listings-- When I was on ETSY last year selling there was a promotion forum I can not find it now~

I think the promotions forums have been deleted - not sure if that's true but someone from another team was bummed about something having to do with that.

My weekend was super-lazy, although I did pick up a shift at the coffee shop on Saturday morning at 6am which seems kinda nutso after working a 40 hour workweek. Needless to say, I did nothing else all weekend except eat out and read books in bed. It was awesome!

Back to business today. Packaging up items to ship when the post office opens tomorrow. Listing items. Hopefully shooting a couple of 'gratitude photographs' for feedback I need to leave for others. Working on putting together a craft fair. Ahh!

I think running some BNRs, making treasuries, blog features, and more may help out

facebook doesnt work so much for me but if it does for people that too would be great

im at work today then classes. I brought cards for my other shop in to mail out today. I have almost everything on task, but just barely.

and cleaning took a back seat again...

Hi everyone!

This weekend was the first weekend we've had in a long time where we didn't have anything going on. Plus I'm off work today and tomorrow, so it's a nice little break! Been trying to catch up on some stuff around the house. We're still trying to sell our house, and I'm definitely nesting and wanting to get things ready for baby already, which is not a good combo...I feel so unsettled.

I've also been spending a lot of time working on Modern Handmade Child lately. Sadly my co-editor just stepped down, which makes a lot more work for me. So I've been super busy trying to get everything organized and moving along for the rest of the spring and summer, since I will be busy with a new baby. :) Here's the link to our site, if anyone's interested: http://mhcmag.com

So unfortunately my shop has taken kind of a back seat lately. And I'm home with my daughter today, so I probably won't get much done today. But I do have tomorrow off, so I'm hoping to get some things done for my shop then. We'll see.

im glad you have two days off though!

I got a back massage last night when i was feeling completely overwhelmed... it was the highlight of my weekend. Well that and going to Aldi and getting chocolate :P

Very busy, indeed! Good for you for getting a massage, teener! And yes, chocolate always helps. :D

I always say I'd love to have a week off where I didn't have to do anything, but I'm sure if I actually did have a week off, I would be busy working on something. Anyone else have a hard time relaxing? As much as I know it's important, I just feel like I'm wasting precious time. :\

Hiya everyone! I'm new here, so I thought I'd just jump right in! ^^

My weekend turned out to be very snowy...but that's okay, as it just lent me more time to update my shop! Amazingly, I ended up with a few extra days off of work as well, otherwise I probably wouldn't have had time to go browsing through the teams and find this nice little group!

I know I have a hard time just relaxing. When I'm home if I'm not working on a project, I'm cleaning, cooking, etc. Nothing ever seems to be "done" for me!

Back @ work today and exhausted!! I brought some supplies with me because I have an order to drop off this afternoon that I did NOT make this weekend, thus am scrambling to make now :(
Oh well, back to the scramble, lol!

Wow what a busy Monday,
Taught classes today, but good news I let class out early because I gave a test Yeah for me right thought might get some ETSY stuff done, wrong, I went to the grocery store, now home I am on here checking convos and this thread:) but I have to grade those tests from today and then it is lecture preparation, dinner preparation, wow oh wow

I am happy to be a part of this team:)
Sad that the promo section is gone but that will just be more work to figure out some other way to promote:)

i had two classes today and i wasnt feeling the best so my bf picked me up and brought me home. I have been working on reading, BNRs, and soon i will be doing eggs and cards

im glad yours happy to be part of the team!!!
i hope to get it rolling faster soon. I'm just so.... well HECTIC... at the moment that I can;t put too too much into new ideas right now, but I want to make this a profitable team for everyone too :)

And to all you snowed in - enjoy what might be the last of good excuses to don wool socks and have a hot cocoa! Love it when the weather slows me down. I've had winter doldrums lately and am perfectly content not updating my shop until the mood strikes me.

We DID, however, manage to go grocery shopping, clean the kitchen AND tidy the living room tonight! I am beside myself with pride. ;)

Don't worry, Shannon! There will be much more of this going on. It's so exciting -- the only thing I'm worrying at all about is how to get visitors. That's what I'm spending March doing!

i wish i was snowed in. The roads are terrible here, but we still had school and i had work this morning.

Don't you love that book? My niece is a super busy-body and rarely has time for picture books (I hope she'll settle down soon! She's under two so her sitting attention span is not long at all...) but she actually calmed down for Miss Rumphius (The Lupine Lady!) Barbara Cooney, the book's author and illustrator, lived in Maine and came to my school a couple of times! She signed one of my books... have to find it. Google search pictures of this woman, she's amazing.
