Proper Treasury Protocol?

Hi everyone,
I have seen a lot of people add an item from their own shops when creating a treasury. I thought I read somewhere that this is frowned on because you are meant to ''share etsy love with others''-kind of like pay it forward? I haven't added anything from my shop because I didn't think it was cool to do-but if I heard wrong, please let me know! Did I just dream this up, lol?!

Nope, I think you're absolutely right, Sue! I totally read that somewhere in one of etsy's guides to treasuries.

Okay, so I'm not TOTALLY bonkers... I do see a ton of people add their own items. I'm thinking that they just didn't read the guide. Thanks for letting me know, Zadzukki! :~)
